To cope with business development strategy of our group, we have set up the Quality Assurance Centre for Solar Modules and Engineering after internal restructuring in the second half of 2011. It aims to maintain our core competitiveness, by providing upgraded systematic quality assurance service for all the products manufactured. Following the continuous improvement of global solar sector, we target to upgrade our standardization processes, in view of fulfilling all requirements for more global quality standards. Executing this improved quality assuring procedures, we would like to provide higher satisfaction for our customers.

The centre includes different series of testing and analytical instruments, mainly for evaluating the photovoltaic and engineering properties of solar related components. With the data measured, it helps to make assessment on the actual performance of components in real applications.

During the years, we have already passed well-known quality assurance standards like TUV、CE and VDE. Our latest build-in photovoltaic (BIPV) modules also awarded Certificate for China Compulsory Product Certification (CCC Approval). Nevertheless, in October 2011, a meeting of International Organization for Standardization in Berlin (Germany), we were invited as a convener for setting the ISO/TC160/SC1/WG9 standards in the area of solar glasses using in building industry. Together with our effort putting in the quality assurance centre, we help to make guidance for the development of BIPV modules in fulfilling the safety standards applicable in worldwide building industry, fitting the design criteria in architecture.

Besides, with the support from National Development and Reform Commission (China), we have set up Research Centre for Built-in Photovoltaic Materials and Engineering (Shenzhen),helping localized solar industry to maintain competitiveness in global markets. Simultaneously, we are investigating to set up an outdoor testing centre for solar modules and systems in Hong Kong area. With this synergy, we plans to explore more international cooperation in the area of standardization for quality assurance, further promoting the use of solar in the community.
