TRONY TECHNOLOGY: NON-CRYSTAL SILICON PHOTOVOLTAIC COMPONENT PASSES THE VDE SAFETY CERTIFICATION
On April 21, 2010, Trony Technology obtained the German VDE safety certification for its TSP2-16 non-crystal silicon photovoltaic component, which means a “pass” has been granted to the company to allow the entry of the product into the EU or the German market.
About VDE
The VDE Testing and Certification Institute in Offenbach, Germany is a research institute under Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE) founded in 1920. As a neutral and independent organization, the VDE’s laboratories conduct application-based tests and certification for electrical products according to the national standards of Germany, the EN standards or the IEC standards. VDE is directly involved in the making of the national standards of Germany, and it is one of the world’s well-known and most experienced certification organizations with high reputation. Each year it completes 18,000 certifications for nearly 2,200 German and 2,700 other foreign companies. Up till now, more than 200,000 electrical products from 50 countries across the globe have received the VDE certification sign, which in many countries is even better known than the signs of their own, and it is particularly recognized and valued by importers and exporters.
